HSXET-02 Piston Pin Eddy Current Tester

HSXET-02 Piston Pin Eddy Current Tester

The piston pin is a cylindrical pin that is mounted on the skirt of the piston. Its middle part passes through the small hole of the connecting rod and is used to connect the piston and the connecting rod. Its function is to transmit the gas force received by the piston to the connecting rod or to make the connecting rod small head drive the piston to move together. In order to reduce the weight, the piston pin is generally made of high-quality alloy steel and made hollow.

In recent years, with the rapid development of China's automobile industry, the requirements for the quality of auto parts are getting higher and higher. The piston pin is used as a safety component on the engine, and its quality is good or bad, which directly affects the service life of the engine. In the past, the piston pin mainly used fluorescent magnetic particle inspection. Due to the high labor intensity, it is especially necessary to observe the magnetic traces by the human eye. For a long time, it is easy to fatigue, and the leakage inspection often occurs. In order to overcome the influence of human factors, the manufacturer proposed to use eddy current to automatically detect the longitudinal and transverse cracks on the surface of the piston pin.
